I'm Aki Obarrio, a professional reader and literary critic, translator, and writer. My work is about reading with discernment — I analyze, curate, and guide texts through a lens shaped in comparative literature and cultural criticism. Through El Elfo que Lee, I share that perspective with a community that reads with intention.

Literary Curation for Boutique Hotels

I design libraries and reading selections built around the guest experience — curated according to each space's identity, with literary judgment and cultural sensitivity. A hotel doesn't need a decorative library. It needs one that tells a story.

Have a hotel in mind? Email me at aki@akiobarrio.com and let's talk.
